If you ever catch The Millionaire Matchmaker, Patti Stanger is a woman who knows her business. She also knows a few things about smart skin care. During the episode that aired tonight, April 16, 2009, Patti emphasizes exactly what we here at OC TAN 2 U fully believe in- Having a beautiful tan- as fake as it may be- because it's safer. Her exact words were "I have a fake tan! And I do it because I don't want cancer!".Spoken like a true champ.

Tanning is fast becoming the new black sheep of behavior. More and more research comes out on a daily basis that proves that tanning is directly linked to the development of melanoma. I have several clients and have talked to a million girls who are avid tanners until the day they go to the doctor and moles come back as pre-cancerous. Then all of a sudden they panic and want to take care of their skin and their bodies and don't know how.That's were we come in.I could go on and on about research and statistical data and clinical studies that proves all this mumbo jumbo, but all you have to do is open a magazine or watch a little tv to know that it's true, so I won't bore you here.
